personally i got my citizenship in the EU through ancestry and plan to leave with that

i dont know if its still accurate w/ italy's changed but there was talk about 40% of americans could get citizenship in the European Union based on ancestry alone

number gets even bigger if you start to consider countries outside but some of them are very poor

UPDATE: I've been in touch with Arturo's friends and band-mates. He gets one phone call every other day — he seemed to be in good spirits yesterday.

Arturo is being held and has not been officially charged yet. DA has I think another 36 hours to decide on charges.

This morning, the national 50501 account posted a statement on Bluesky praising the actions of their "volunteer member of the protest safety team", calling the shooting victim a "depraved and disturbed domestic terrorist."

They have since deleted their post and have not issued a followup statement
