Rather than attended the dignified transfer of the remains of four U.S. soldiers killed on his watch, Trump will be dining with his Saudi golf buddies.

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

The bishop asked for compassion and mercy. Apparently, the Christian nationalist speaker of the House would rather lie and bow to Trump than support compassion & mercy.

Chris Murphy: "Here's the message. If you beat a police officer in this country, you're going to jail for a long time, with one exception. You don't go to jail if you beat the hell out of a police officer in service of Donald Trump ... it put Democrats' lives in jeopardy in particular."

You can't shame MAGA. It's impossible to shame shameless people. I go on and debate them, trust me. They will make excuses for and glorify Musk's Nazi salute and Trump pardoning violent insurrectionists. But remember there's a world out there - and the majority opposes it. Be loud. Don't be silent.

And—in particular—don’t be silent for the sake of being polite. We’re not taking about politics in the ordinary sense anymore. This is about decency and morality and whether or not this country chooses to become a thoroughly criminalized state instead of an imperfect representative democracy.

Donald Trump chose Kash Patel and Pam Bondi because he wants his political enemies to be investigated and prosecuted. Joe Biden did very little to prevent that. It is now up to us and the courts to protect democracy and rule of law.
