but it just doesn't play. Yes, most people are idiots, conformist slugs, but I think it might have worked if SOMEONE slightly saw her side, or there was a real debate. Something.

But she, like me, is reasonably nonplussed by this reaction because IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE, doesn't work as writing. I get that the show wants her to be isolated, alone in her fight,

Some have their reasons, there is a sort of “debate,” yet NOT ONE of Carol's very rational points lands with any of them, at all, even for a moment. It's seems unbelievable to me that none of them would be remotely bothered by this, besides being lonely and wanting to join the hive.
