Astronomers using #NASAWebb identified two stars that generate carbon-rich dust in our Milky Way. When the stars in Wolf-Rayet 140 swing by one another on their elongated orbits, their winds collide and produce dust that expands outward: webbtelescope.pub/42bqgOP #AAS245 🔭 🧪

The 2,000 year old Octagon Earthworks in Newark Ohio are one of the few remaining fragments of the once sprawling Hopewell Ceremonial Mound Complex.
Thankfully with the sites recent admittance to UNESCO, the golf course will finally be removed in January of 2025.
Big steps in the right direction!
