"As Brueggemann repeatedly pointed out, one of empire’s key projects is to shrink our imagination until the future we imagine doesn’t threaten its agenda."
The 'Dangerous Oddness' of Walter Brueggemann
The late theologian saw the direction the country was headed, and he knew the key to fighting it was to start dreaming bigger.

“America First” *should* look like ensuring that every American has healthcare, housing, education, etc.

Fear makes us small. We default to scapegoats to manage our fragility. Know what is the actual cure? Love. Love enlarges us. Love emboldens us. Love offers a new perspective that is stronger, doesn't need scapegoats. Choose love.

The cost of living in Virginia is too high for families already struggling to put dinner on the table.

Virginia’s affordability crisis is real — and as Governor, it’ll be a priority of mine to lower costs so that families can thrive in our Commonwealth.

I’m running for Governor, because I believe Virginians deserve leadership that puts Virginia first.

That’s why I’m rolling out straightforward plans of what I’ll do as Governor to lower healthcare costs for Virginians.

It's not "deporting" to send people from Myanmar & Vietnam (with no due process) to South Sudan (wrong CONTINENT, & an area dealing w/war, hunger, torture, disappearances, other violence.)

It's kidnapping. It's trafficking. It's a crime against humanity that, in itself, merits a trip to the Hague.
so the Trump administration is admitting that they're deporting migrants to South Sudan

According to a study by Penn Wharton, Trump's "big, beautiful bill" that pays for tax breaks for the rich by cutting Medicaid leads to a $700 LOSS in income for the working class, a $1,000 LOSS in income for the poor & a $389,000 INCREASE for the top 0.1%.

We must defeat it.

Lying for Jesus isn’t cool.

And just because you think a fake stat “tells a true story” doesn’t mean you get to spread that fake stat.

Instead, it’s worth asking, “if the research doesn’t support what I’m saying, then could it be that I’m actually wrong?”
