I’m neurodivergent. In many ways, but right now I want to mention my dyslexia and executive dysfunction.
So either embrace the typos or be abelist somewhere else…
I’m doing a rewatch of the show Bones. And all I can think is if my remains on the show, how would they talk about my hip dysplasia and scoliosis?

Do you think RFK jr thinks autistic people don’t pay taxes because he only hangs out with Elon Musk?
April 18, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Oh, RFK Jr. said autistic people “ruin families” and “never pay taxes”?
Shocking. Just shocking.
It’s not like conservative Christians have spent decades quietly (and not-so-quietly) wishing disabled people would disappear.

People who think that disabled people are burdens on society, I’m blocking you if you comment on my stuff.

I don’t care, your opinion is heinous. And you can spew all the hot garbage you want out of your mouth, but I don’t have to listen to you.

“There were no autistic people in the past!”
Sir, they were locked away in asylums and hidden in attics. Autistic people have always existed — we’ve just been silenced, institutionalized, and abused by people like you.
But sure, keep going off about how we’re the problem.

Oh, absolutely, let’s have everyone who doesn’t believe in DEI and inclusion speak up… so we can start excluding them. Gotta honor their beliefs, right?

She ate the pomegranate seeds, knowing she would never be the same again.”

Another trip around the sun, and what a wild, beautiful journey it’s been. I’ve danced at balls, wandered ancient cities, twirled through Renaissance faires, and made the most magical memories with people I love.

I don’t understand parents who get upset about child-free events like weddings etc. Why insist on bringing your kids to a gathering where most guests will be drinking, often among people you don’t know well? That doesn’t seem like an appropriate environment for children to me.

All my past situationships watch my stories like it’s their full-time job. I only remember they exist when their little icon pops up—a gift from ADHD. I don’t just move on; I completely forget they ever happened.

I’ve meticulously curated my internet experience (and, honestly, my entire life) to avoid creepy men as much as humanly possible. So when one suddenly appears—completely uninvited, like a jump scare in a bad horror movie—it’s somehow even more jarring.

Politicians who claim to “Make America Great Again” are more focused on making themselves richer while leaving everyday Americans to struggle.

I’ve been very active on social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, but lately, I’ve found myself getting more and more frustrated with it. And the trend where the influencers on tik tok admitted to lying has me thinking (continued)

Living off disability benefits alone in the U.S. is extremely difficult, if not impossible, for many. Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments are often far below the cost of living, (thread)

Elon Musk, who has publicly stated that he is autistic, is technically a beneficiary of DEI principles. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives are designed to ensure that individuals from marginalized or underrepresented groups—including disabled people—have fair opportunities in the workplace
January 31, 2025 at 5:23 AM
Eliminating DEI initiatives will have a significant impact on disabled individuals—especially those who rely on workplace accommodations. Many corporations and businesses already resist providing the necessary support to ensure disabled employees can do their jobs effectively.

Nestled in Georgia’s mountains, Helen is a charming German-themed town perfect for a weekend getaway. We visited for Castle Faire at Uhuburg and stayed at the cozy Alpine Hearth Cottage. From alpine-style streets to authentic cuisine, Helen is magical and unforgettable, especially with loved ones.

As a dyslexic person I often wonder how those people feel about braille!?
“Listening to books isn’t the same as reading them.”

Okay?

What is the goal of this statement? To encourage people to not engage with books at all? To only read them because that’s the only thing that “counts”?

I read all of my books and don’t care about how others consume theirs. 🤷🏾‍♀️
