Here are the 28 Dem Senators who voted to advance the first federal ban on trans athletes & a federal definition of sex that would make trans & intersex people non-existent: Angela Alsobrooks (MD), Tammy Baldwin (WI), Richard Blumenthal (CT), Lisa Blunt Rochester (DE), Chris Coons (DE), ->
By a vote of 76-23, S 1071 passes the motion to proceed to the motion to concur. Won't know who voted for this until the roll call is uploaded, but safe to say it passed with the support of at least 24 members of the Democratic caucus. (Rand Paul probably voted nay and Steve Daines has been absent).

Everything happening in the USA is because we keep losing elections. Ultimately, winning them - if we ever get the chance - is the only thing that matters.

There is a pretty clearly delineated line between "the attacks on Israel were provoked by decades of apartheid and brutality and the Israeli government is to blame for them" and "killing elementary schoolers is totes fine, actually" and a few of you are very uncomfortably on the wrong side of it

I also for the first time made my own potting mix!! I'm now outta perlite though. 2:1:1 ration of compost, peat alternative, and perlite. The strawberry mix I made earlier had some sulfur in it to help keep it mildly acidic for the strawberries 🌱

The bottle I got yesterday shattered and I was sad because my budget didn't allow for another one, but I got a tiny gig today which paid me enough for a new one (and to stash some money in savings)
