Just finished “Someone You Can Build A Nest In” by John Wiswell. Comfortably creepy and relatable. If your body isn’t always yours to command or you’ve known enemies who hide themselves well, it will resonate. Highly recommend.

Make no mistake: Illinois is leading the nation in strengthening women’s health care.

With the passage of HB 3637, we are expanding the ways we shield our providers from punishment for delivering life-saving health care.

We are not going back.

A special section inserted into the Sunday Chicago Sun-Times featured page-upon-page of fun summer activities, including a list of 15 books to bring along while lounging by the pool or relaxing in a favorite reading spot.

The problem: the authors are real, but most of the books listed don’t exist.

Chicago’s Field Museum is getting a Pokémon fossil exhibit! So glad I can talk about this now. Opens in about a year.
