I saw this at the airport in La Paz as we were getting ready to come back to Canada and it delighted me.
It's a fire extinguisher on the wall. On the base of the fire extinguisher is a large black and white sticker of a ghost and the words Fatuo Fantasma was never here.

Two books I bought in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Both are in Spanish.
MEMENTO MORI - RECUERDA TU MUERTE. Skull on a black cover. Seems to be a book about daily exercises to better your life by remembering you're gonna die. Marvel zombies return. Looks English, but the inside is in Spanish. I enjoyed the TV miniseries and What If...? zombie stuff. Comic looks suitably disgusting.

San Ramon Nanato is the patron saint of locks because they pierced his lips and locked his mouth shut to stop him from preaching. If you zoom in on the face of this statue you'll see a lock over his mouth. He is also the patron saint of STFU.

Saint Sebastian is hot. Also he has an arrow in his armpit. One of my favourite saints. He's the original Skibidi Toilet, because when he died they threw him into a privy.
It's a statue of Saint Sebastian, shot with arrows, one of which is in his armpit. He is almost nude and looks like he's having a good time.

I keep a travel diary of my trips and try to write down everything we do. On a trip like this, there's no way I'm going to remember everything. I'm on page 153 of this book. Last night I wrote out eight pages.

Some kid on the street was making and selling stickers and I bought a ton of them for 40 Bolivianos and I think I made his day. Some don't photograph well as they are shiny. But I love these skeleton ones.

Look at this big door. Big old wood. I love it. What is this? I don't know. A bunch of Latin words written in a circle and on a cross in the middle. Is this magic? Fun print. The nuns had their own pharmacy. This is a cabinet full of powders and potions and shit. Jesus is suffering in the foreground. Two guys in the background. One in green is pointing at Jesus and saying, "Should we do something about that guy suffering?" The guy in red has his hand up as if to say, "Fuck that. Let's not get involved."

We toured a convent museum today. I was agog. So cool. Museo Convento Santa Teresa. My wife says I cannot become a nun and that doesn't seem fair.
Malformed folk art concrete Jesus on a cross in the courtyard of the convent. A window made out of stone. Who is this fucking guy? I don't know, but he is awesome. Big gold frame, weird looking priest dude painting. What is with his frilly ruffled collar? I have no idea. Some very old book written in Latin with a picture of Jesus on the cross on the left and words on the right.
