Pensioner, artist, antique collector, gamer, Green Party. UK needs a proportional voting system before the next general election. It may give Reform the largest number of seats of any UK party, but it won't give them the overall majority that FPTP will.
Whether or not you dread, as I do, the possiblility of Reform mayors, this is still an affront to democracy. If you postpone elections because you're afraid of who might win (which, ofc, is *actually* what this is about) then you have abandoned democratic process

Labour's budget planning is coming across as utterly chaotic. It feels like they're just throwing ideas out to see what lands ok with the markets. No sense of mission or moral principle: no suggestion that anybody's holding the steering wheel.
