My older son hated Of Mice and Men so much he could only write 17 words about it in his exam and failed that paper. I had to read it again to do his homework. I hate it now too

Serious football fans should resist alcohol being permitted in grounds, not because it’s going to make much difference to disorder, but because it’s really irritating having people pushing past you all the time, either going to the bar for pints or the toilet to get rid of them.

I told Bluesky I wanted to see posts about books and now I realise I’m out of my depth. People are posting like their ‘top ten books of 2024 featuring beekeepers’ and I can’t mix in this company

If the govt is using CfE levels to claim that Literacy and Numeracy levels are ‘record-breaking’ then I’ll take that information with a bucket of salt. Absolute bollocks.
