I just picked up three months of insulin for two people. Now I'll be anxious about the fridge accidentally freezing it all.
(Notice the old box of Levemir in the back. I'm allergic to Lantus, and I'll be hanging on to that Levemir long after it expires. There's not another good backup insulin.)

We have our first cat that doesn't (yet) hate the vet. She was so annoyed we wouldn't let her out of the exam room to explore everything else.

We have got to talk about the chronic absenteeism problem in schools with more nuance. I believe it's a real issue, because I hear about it from every teacher I know. But treating every absence as a catastrophe is ridiculous.

There's a great mural of children's book characters in this doctor's office. There's only one I can't identify. What book is this? They're all classics, so nothing recent. One of the English countryside ones?

I'm clearing space in the front yard for 29 native plants using this kick sod cutter. It's both tiring and very satisfying. Highly recommend if you're clearing a smaller area of grass.
