Or Rodney Taylor, a disabled double amputee who’s been in America since he was two years old.

He was days away from receiving new prosthetic legs when ICE grabbed him

His health is declining, they won’t let him get his legs and they’ve placed him in solitary

For over 20 hours now Senator Merkley has been talking and trying to get the Republicans to come to their senses and talk the president into negotiating. I am a CASA and my 3 kiddos are going to lose their SNAP benefits in November if the government does not reopen. Shame.

@melaniekebler.bsky.social I hope that the city of Bend can soon be working on such a plan. It is truly needed and even if a small percentage of people participate, it brings awareness to what can work and what needs to be improved. And we can also learn from the experience in Ashland.

I am ashamed to be living in a country where this happens. In my town, a rainbow sidewalk was damaged purposefully by tire marks. You have to have poor self esteem to be threatened by the fact that the World around you is diverse.
Went to downtown DC to watch them remove the Black Lives Matter mural and wrote about how the removal of such symbols reflects government policy priorities. How the removal of the BLM mural reflects the administration’s desire to remove Black people and history from large segments of American life.

😡This new regime is emboldening white, racist men to crush others. It is 🤮
Missouri's AG Andrew Bailey is suing Starbucks, arguing that its workforce is too "female" and "non-white" and as a result Missouri consumers “pay higher prices and wait longer for goods and services" because its workforce is "less qualified"

This is a brazenly racist and sexist lawsuit.
