Frontend Developer that likes 3D
Airplanes, drums and F1
Did something I never thought would work
I added 2 RAM sticks to my PC and stopped posting
Thinking it was the new RAM I removed them, wouldn't post with the old sticks that worked fine
After many attempts and different configurations, cleaned the contacts of a stick with isopropyl alcohol
WORKED!!

This. This is my frustration with the state of Frontend
It's boring, maintenance heavy, unsecure with so many dependencies
Always jumping over hoops to do something basic
A simple data table becomes an entire project

Wow! Didn't know this was a thing
I had heard of PoF but thought it would be copper along side the fiber, not through the light itself!
Found this cool active GNSS/GPS antenna that is literally powered over fiber (like 300-ish mW), using a laser. Don't look into that optic!

Really proud of my self host main server 💻
It's all just a bunch of friends hand-me-downs old hardware and some cheap things I bought strategically
I got an UPS that has a USB interface and programmed the server to gracefully shutdown
Last night power was all sorts of broken and it handled it nicely

Is android development just Gradle/Maven and Java version hell?
It seems that if I sneeze just hard enough the project starts failing builds...

Also, can we stop merging man and women clothes in clothing stores?
I know inclusivity and all, but does this help?
I can't browse

Trying to get back into gaming and I have a library full of games that never seem to catch my attention
Any good campaigns of not fantasy/rpg/very open world games?
