There's a standup routine where some guy explains the differences between all three and then wraps up with "the reason most people don't explain this is because it makes you sound like a pedophile" and that's the only time I ever thought it worked.

I'm catching up on back issues of Uncanny while waiting for my Libby hold of Don Quixote to open up. (I couldn't get through it in one borrow, and had to request it a second time.)

I recently flew into/out of LaGuardia and I felt like I was on the set of some made-for-AppleTV sci-fi series. I posit the only reason it hasn't been used as such is that it'd be impossible to shut down for the time it'd take to film.

Oh man, you're in for a ride. I wish I had it all ahead of me again, to experience for the first time. Cheers!

AN ETHICAL GROOK

I see
and I hear
and I speak no evil;
I carry
no malice
within my breast;
yet quite without
wishing
a man to the Devil
one may be
permitted
to hope for the best.
