I’ve never felt so bad for a fucking TV in my life, bro. Tenna punched me in the childhood.
Before the game came out, I thought people wouldn't really care about Tenna and simply dismiss him as a budget Spamton. I'm glad everyone seems to like him just fine. I see those two as intentionally similar characters who mutually enhance each other. You know, like Spy vs. Spy.

We have to stop in the disability community negating someone’s disabled experience by declaring you have it worse and that that someone should consider themselves lucky they can live their own life better than you can. This isn’t a “who is worse” competition. We’re all advocating for the same access

Can't make articles or long posts here, nor can you make threads easily so I'm afraid Bluesky will just have to settle for a screenshot instead!

Maybe next year Bluesky will be slightly easier to use! 🙏

Thank you for an amazing 2024! ! !

I've had enough. I'm going to start maintaining a new blocklist for Palworld haters.

bsky.app/profile/did:...

I'll use my unfiltered Palworld feed and add those who are negative to the list.

This hate is uncalled for, no other indie game would get this much hate for drawing inspiration.

The anti-Palworld vibe on Bluesky has caught me off guard. I get that Palworld is the boogeyman for a lot of people because they bought into the Twitter lies at release but still...

I assumed Bluesky was the more rational place, but it's actually a lot more "REEE I HATE PALWORLD" than I expected😔

We don't love AI nor did we "generate" Pals.

Our art team are the nicest and most talented people I've ever met.

One comment from our CEO on a Buzzfeed article isn't cause to shit on our art team.

Don't really want to argue about this more, not your fault. Just a bit relentless on this app.

It's insulting to people's intelligence to pretend they're the same and it denigrates the importance of both skills in their unique value to the human experience. People should consume whatever media they want via whatever medium they want with no judgement, but this is just ridiculous gaslighting.

I don't think I've seen anyone on these posts attacking non-readers. Only defending the idea that words actually mean something. I listen to audiobooks all the time but have noticed my reading skills and attention span decline as I've read less, so I'm actively trying to practice those skills.

Have you heard the story? Absolutely. But you didn’t read it. You just heard it.

Anyone who’s read a book hasn’t heard it, and anyone who’s heard it hasn’t read it.

Not trying to take away from your experience of enjoying a book, just trying to argue that words should have meaning.

Reading isn’t the only way to consume a book. Listening to someone read it to you is another way. I don’t see the advantage in pretending they’re the same thing just because they achieve similar results.

I hate to be a downer but no it is not the same. Retention through reading is much higher than retention through audio processing. Especially as length increases.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.
Audiobooks count as reading.

I can tell you're from Tumblr. Keep that attitude you have over on the platform where speaking to strangers like a rude child is normal.

Curating a timeline you want to follow, that makes the site usable and fun = bad??

Firehose of everyone who follows you, regardless of if youre interested in what some of them post or not = noble and good!

It's an ass backwards way of thinking.

Lmao I keep seeing it framed as elitist if someone has a big audience but only follows like a couple hundred people and I'm sorry but no??

This is the exact same shit the paid bluecheck goblins on twitter kept saying! It's bizarre.

What's an elitist dipshit? I think it's best if everybody does what they want. If we start dictating to people what they can and can't do, we just form another sort of elitism.

I've not much of the faintest idea of what to even post here, so I'll just start with this. All the Madolche cards so far in the deck I'm making, still need a few more, not to mention the other staples that come with it. Nothing much, but here's a post.

Yes, this exactly.
Stardew Valley is going to do a lot of heavy lifting of my mental health right now. (1.6 update is finally out for Switch btw).
