We don't love AI nor did we "generate" Pals.

Our art team are the nicest and most talented people I've ever met.

One comment from our CEO on a Buzzfeed article isn't cause to shit on our art team.

Don't really want to argue about this more, not your fault. Just a bit relentless on this app.

It's insulting to people's intelligence to pretend they're the same and it denigrates the importance of both skills in their unique value to the human experience. People should consume whatever media they want via whatever medium they want with no judgement, but this is just ridiculous gaslighting.

I don't think I've seen anyone on these posts attacking non-readers. Only defending the idea that words actually mean something. I listen to audiobooks all the time but have noticed my reading skills and attention span decline as I've read less, so I'm actively trying to practice those skills.

Have you heard the story? Absolutely. But you didn’t read it. You just heard it.

Anyone who’s read a book hasn’t heard it, and anyone who’s heard it hasn’t read it.

Not trying to take away from your experience of enjoying a book, just trying to argue that words should have meaning.

Reading isn’t the only way to consume a book. Listening to someone read it to you is another way. I don’t see the advantage in pretending they’re the same thing just because they achieve similar results.

I can tell you're from Tumblr. Keep that attitude you have over on the platform where speaking to strangers like a rude child is normal.

Curating a timeline you want to follow, that makes the site usable and fun = bad??

Firehose of everyone who follows you, regardless of if youre interested in what some of them post or not = noble and good!

It's an ass backwards way of thinking.

What's an elitist dipshit? I think it's best if everybody does what they want. If we start dictating to people what they can and can't do, we just form another sort of elitism.
