It's no secret that Conway has used the OD crisis to boost his political profile, as evidenced by his constant grandstanding at committee hearings.

He's done so while calling for MORE drug-war policing and disregarding the opinions of public health experts. It's despicable.

In case you needed yet another reason to support the Pittsburgh Union Progress...

Why did no one tell me that Blueprint Cafe in Charles Village has kimbap — and its Wi-Fi password is delirium tremens?

I've found a new home. I don't care that delirium is spelled wrong.

Update: The Banner has edited the article and inserted a "clarification." It should be listed as a correction, at the very least, as they published blatantly false information despite the drug supply data being publicly available.
October 9, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Here we fucking go again. The Banner is reporting that benzodiazepines are "often" found in Baltimore's drug supply, which is FALSE.

They cite "state testing" without providing the data. I've already reported on the RAD data — it shows benzos are very rare in local test samples.

And now this lineup is coming to Baltimore in March? Jeeeeez.

On Day 3 of skating everyday to get some exercise/re-learn tricks. Haven't fucked myself up badly enough to end up in the hospital yet.

Will provide updates from the ER when it inevitably happens.

What the hell is up with this photo/pose? I guess the ICE-loving bigot doesn't share the photogenic gene with his cousin.

Also, can we stop platforming these losers?

The BPD is touting another drug bust today. As always, the people they arrested — and the drugs they seized — will immediately be replaced.

Drug users will pivot to an even more unpredictable and lethal drug supply. The enforcement won't hurt sales; it'll just hurt people.

Oh, the horror! What would we ever do without our favorite bootlickers over at Fox45?
September 22, 2025 at 9:01 PM
As someone who has smoked crack, I can guarantee you that it's better than beaver nuggets. And it's definitely better than this ridiculous article that the Banner published, which has absolutely nothing to do with Baltimore (or even Maryland).
September 19, 2025 at 7:00 PM
And fuck no, I'm not paying them. They are blatantly shielding information from the public, all while taking advantage of the fact that I don't have some millionaire-funded outlet like the Banner/Sun to back me up and cover the costs.

This is absolutely ridiculous.
September 12, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Starting to see more and more of these fucking ridiculous ads. They almost remind me of the old Partnership for a Drug Free America commercials — but somehow even worse.

The Baltimore City Council is holding a hearing today to devise "public health-centered solutions" to the OD crisis.

Yet it comes after city leaders bragged about a partnership between state police and the BPD last week, in part to ramp up the city's ongoing crackdown on drugs.

Spent about 45 minutes sitting in an alley with this guy. Without a doubt, Baltimore's got the best cats in the game. High-quality felines all around.

In classic Baltimore fashion, they invited the fucking DEA.

Today is Baltimore's International Overdose Awareness Day event, where there's a large presence of harm reduction and treatment organizations.

It's estimated that two people die of overdoses in the city each day — and those deaths are entirely preventable.

Statement from Mayor Brandon Scott:
August 14, 2025 at 9:54 PM
As far as I'm aware, Baltimore's leaders have said nothing since Trump directly threatened our neighbors who are unsheltered/use drugs.

Yet the moment he talks shit on violent crime numbers (which are declining in line with a nationwide trend), they SPRING into action.

Just a Baltimore dope rat.

Tattoo by Alex Doucette at Have Fun Be Lucky in Hampden. Absolutely love this piece.

News: End It is going on tour this fall. The final show is at Soundstage on 10/26.

Are the fucking scumbags at the Banner going to sensationalize every OD death that takes place in Penn North?

This person's cause of death isn't even confirmed. Regardless, the area is known to have some of the highest fatal OD rates in the city.

This rag is a joke.
July 25, 2025 at 4:06 PM
As cops portray themselves as brave heroes fighting to bring "justice" after the mass OD event, remember that prohibition and policing are what got us here in the first place.

The failed drug war is why this unregulated, unpredictable and deadly drug supply exists.

Also, do not listen to people spreading unconfirmed reports about the batch's contents. When rumors like this pop up, it's irresponsible and dangerous to amplify them without verified test results.
