Current fixations: FFXIV?
FFXIV: Madeluna Kiarenis @ Mateus
As I put it "I like that, compared to something like Fortnite, it has things to do other than kill every other player... I just don't find any of those things particularly compelling."

I don't really *like* the change, but they were the best we were gonna get. Something needed to happen because the devs seemingly forgot RDM needs to be able to get into melee range on their 2min and like half the fights last tier didn't allow that.

What in the No Child Left Behind even was that.

Ideally, in both games, it's more fun to come into conflict because of a reason that's not "it's fun to PvP" because, again, there's plenty of games where the whole deal is "it's fun to PvP."
Getting shot and killed, I just feel Nothing and go and so something else.

And then doing it again because this mission is a "bring back this one quest loot item that only spawns for one of you, lmao" mission.
Everything else is just... I could get better loot to get better guns to get better loot to... upgrade those guns? And then some free loadout could kill me for them (actually for no reason, but they're a bonus) and just ???

I just don't like the core of it, I guess. My overwhelming emotion while playing is apathy?

What the hell do people see in it? It's got like a handful of good ideas and the rest of it is just so mediocre. Is it just that it's Atlus? Is this like "no Zelda game could get below a nine" or something?

The plants in the barn I beat on hard, but my original difficulty (apparently moved to expert at some point) has the room almost instantly filling with damaging roots.

And most of that was actively working on the soup! Less than a third of it was time I could be doing something else.

Maybe it works as an intriguing introduction if you don't know these characters, but with context it plays like a bad semi-canon side movie that's mainly concerned about showing fans their favorite characters
Basically any hat I'd want to wear completely hides my ears which is technically better to have the option, but, you know, I like my ears.

That kinda stuff is the inherent (and elegant) difficulty balancing of an RPG! Yeah, you keep failing, but each failure builds you up stronger until you eventually win.

Pretty samey combat, feel like most runs are just hoping you get a semi-lucky combination that the last two zones/boss aren't obnoxiously slow due to low damage output.
