As someone who is always second-guessing my craft, I sometimes I wish fiction reviews were more like gymnastics scoring: “5/5 for technique, 4/5 for execution, but 2/5 for personal taste. You’ve got a lot of skill and I think this was well-done, but it just wasn’t my cup of tea.”

today I packed boxes and found a roll of the old, BETTER, STICKIER stickers we use for labeling.
