A little update to my WCAG Lookup tool - it now appears as a sidebar panel. I was finding that on some sites (such as GitHub), focus management on the host page was stealing focus from the tool's dialog.

tl;dr – I made a tool to look up WCAG SCs and copy the links in various formats.

Lookup WCAG SCs All WCAG SCs showing, sorted by their SC number Filtering applied: showing only Level AAA SCs that were introduced in Version 2.2 With one SC selected, 5 buttons are showing, 4 of which provide 'Copy' optins, and the 5th takes you to the page.

Friday Bookmarklet Time! I wanted a way to demonstrate an issue related to WCAG SC 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum) in an audit. It tracks the element in focus and adds a secondary focus indicator that sits above other page content, so you can visualise where the issue is, ready for a screenshot
An input that sits underneath a fixed footer is revealed by a new focus indicator that floats above the sticky footer.

Friday bookmarklet time!

This is another one that I've been using myself for a long time, but not shared before. It's dead simple - it checks the page title (testing for SC 2.4.2 Page Titled), but also looks at the page `

` element and shows the two together.

Alert shows analysis of the page <title> and the page <h1> content, along with some analysis of how matched the two are.
