Ah. I see we are moving on from the ensh*tification to the dystopification of the internet.
It’s also interesting to think about how this correlates with the decline of Hollywood/Music industry (both known for leaning heavily left). Perhaps it’s time for the Dems to focus less on celebrity endorsements and more on social media influencers, podcasters, YouTubers, etc.
Something I’ve been thinking about is the conservative movement to capture pop culture, which succeeded in spaces a lot of people didn’t realize were so popular or politically impactful: podcasts, YouTube commentary, influencers, etc
