Oh, absolutely. I’m not disputing what Trump promised, just stating that the push for deportation was not one that Dems were also pushing for.

The article is referring to the crackdowns last year as the “bipartisan push.” They are not referring to Trump’s current plan of deportation as bipartisan as it does not have bipartisan support.
