Rewatched Mr Smith Goes to Washington tonight. Wanted to see something hopeful about the political arena. Was reminded that disingenuous arguments haven’t changed in the 87 years since it was released. Maybe someday things will change but I fear the lure of money and power may be too great.

There's a description problem inherent in describing what an LLM actually DOES. It doesn't THINK or REASON, but because it outputs text - which, to humans, is a sign of thought and reasoning - people assume it's doing actual brain work when it absolutely CANNOT
