You can make art.
The biggest step isn't getting good at art, it's being willing to make art that doesn't match the idea of "good art" in your head.

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

my biggest piece of advice for someone who is just starting out in the games industry ( from the pov of an env artist ) Is to TAKE LOTS OF SCREENSHOTS!! of everything you make,model, texture, set dress, light-all of it!! It's better to have options and cull down for your portfolio!

I’ll be honest the fact that CoD is being called out for using GenAi in development & not disclosing it but CO:E33 did not receive anywhere near this for doing the same thing is kind of telling.

3d artists: are AMD cards actually okay for 3d art these days? last time I tried, which was like 12 years ago, it was catastrophic for me. problems in every single 3d app I had. I hope that's no longer the case.
