Today I attended a workshop on using AI tools without sacrificing your voice and your values.

It made me think and provided some useful tips. It also ended on a reassuring note - AI is always looking backwards as it's modelled on data that already exists.

Human thinking is very much still needed!

Passing through the Biblioteca de México, I found a birdsong installation.

The beautiful passageway is now full of plants and a soundscape installation! Wooden nests hold speakers playing the call of native birds. The idea is that you listen, enjoy a moment of calm, and read about different birds.

Human behaviour impacts nature in such diverse and surprising ways.

Today I learned that butterflies are losing their colours as forests are being chopped down.

As forests are cut down, butterflies are losing their colours
The insects’ brilliant hues evolved in lush ecosystems to help them survive. Now they are becoming more muted to adapt to degraded landscapes – and they are not the only things dulling down

Nerds take this creator to develop an outfit inspired by their candy: www.instagram.com/p/DNRb9VXyKkn/

I'm wondering: can collabs like this get more people to shop secondhand?
