I’m looking forward to being back in #Donegal at the #weekend. Spring is always a bit later there, because it’s so far North and our home on #CruitIsland is very exposed. But the light is amazing!

If you are lucky enough to have #solitarybees in your garden - LOOK AFTER THEM!
They build small solitary nests in cavities in the ground/timber/walls, fly for only a few weeks, don’t swarm and are superb #pollinators.

Three Shires Stones, marking the point where the counties of #Somerset #Wiltshire & #Gloucestershire meet. The large 'cromlech' was erected in 1859, but the smaller stones are engraved with the date 1736, but they were mentioned as early as 1611. A 10th Century Charter refers to the 'one stone'.
