Arsenal losing at home and needing to go to France and turn things around in a Champions League semi final second leg? We know it can be done

That performance will put Martinelli on about 0.54 npG+A per 90, about 10% higher than the likes of Anthony Gordon or 35% higher than Neto or Semenyo. In a season when his club's output is down about 20%, mind you

I think we all need to be realistic and say none of that is going to happen. You lose four attackers, you look shit in attack, end of. To expect anything else is delusion. You just have to score once more than the opposition. Don’t expect performances at the moment, just results.
Maybe putting in Ben White on the right may just unlock Nwaneri

Got into it a bit on Martinelli last night, imo he deserves more credit for what he's done this season. With an Arsenal attack ranking 7th and dragged down by Odegaard & Saka missing time, he's outproduced Gordon, Kluivert, Semenyo, damn close to Díaz. In some ways more impressive than 22-23.

I see a manager not making excuses and giving it everything to squeeze every drop from these players. I see these players going flat out with nothing on the bench to help them, playing with issues. Is everyone upstairs putting in the same effort to help them and reinforce? Maybe. But I don’t see it.

Cold light of day, the number of injuries and the amount of energy Arsenal are putting into every game, every three days. I just can’t be hugely angry with players or coach. I think they’re short and they’re giving absolutely everything. The guys upstairs need to help them now. I need their energy.

Rotten for the player. Rotten for the club. I just find it astonishing how much Arsenal fans and the wider punditry just don’t seem to be prepared to entertain that injuries are the root cause for most of (not all of) Arsenal’s current issues.
🚨 Gabriel Jesus set for long spell out with suspected ACL rupture. Further specialist reviews on 27yo striker planned today to establish full extent. Arsenal open to doing business - overseas loans seem most likely route for #AFC at present 🚨

Missed a load of presentable chances and got a big injury to an attacker. That’s the season really, isn’t it?
