Rhetorical question: Why does the information never include the obvious: "the item was most likely stolen from a grave that was looted and an archaeological site that was destroyed in the process"?
When will this nonsense stop? When do we start boycotting auction houses that sell grave loot?

Sexism and sexual harassment in archaeology is pervasive. This French poster exhibition (inaugurated last night at UPF, Barcelona) reminds us of this ongoing problem, but also of the fact that the tide has turned, and that we refuse to be quiet. We will keep fighting for change.
