All the biggest autism charities in England and Wales use forms of ABA e.g. PBS on autistic people in their care.
Their income is more than £325 million a year between them, nearly all of it from Government sources.

Are there any business networks for non binary/ queer neurodivergent folks? So many of the coaching/ networking etc appears to be aimed at women and in the words of Janet, not a girl.

This is typical of the battles facing parents trying to access NHS services.

Our daughter's specialist nurse referred her to the OT service in the same building.

We received a letter from OT saying the referral had been rejected, bc she hadn't included her email address.

Make it make sense.
Locally, there's an ARFID support service.

The dietician thinks that my child should be seen by it.

But they can't refer, you have to have a paediatrician, so now the dietician has to ask the GP to refer to a paediatrician to refer to the ARFID service.

Make it make sense.

If you're on hold to a service that you're not even sure is the right service, how long do you wait?

Asking for me, of course it's for me.... 15 minutes and counting.

Today's #ADHDtax - forgot i had a webinar at 8, needed v shopping, sprinted b to lidl, round lidl, threw shopping into car, returned trolley, came back home - and realised I left my unused extra shopping bags on the trolley.

Free bags for someone there. Dammit.

Was having an absolutely fine day until nearly home, driving on the dual carriageway - and suddenly there was a car heading towards me, in my lane, driving on the wrong carriageway.

Got myself safely to next layby and pulled off to call police, but they can't find her :(
