Variations of serious influenza have been around for a long time and there’s often periods of hospital overcrowding and it’s REALLY hard to tell if we’re all scarred by covid or if another true pandemic is unfolding.

Here are some stats from 2018 (haven't had time to dig deeper and find more recent ones) 51.6% of sexual abusers in the USA were white men. 95% of sexual abusers were US citizens. So where are the laws inspired by these stats!? Here's the source: www.ussc.gov/sites/defaul...

Trying to make an appointment with my psychiatrist for an ADHD med refill when I'm back in Sydney in Jan/Feb and they can't find me in their system, despite that I've been going there since 2007. VERY GOOD.

The universe is getting really confused about what I’m trying to manifest. I wanted a cat to show up, a dog showed up. I’ve been trying for bats in the yard but now rats are under the house (our house was empty for a decade before we moved in, we thought they’d removed them all & sealed it up).

They’ve made a new season of Malcolm in the Middle and I genuinely do not know how I feel about it.

What we do in the shadow is just such a brilliant TV show. The writing, the characters (the casting!) is all incredible and IMO there hasn’t been a weak season yet. The Rock Horror reference in season 6, episode two is just *chefs kiss* (plus the democracy manifest judo ref).

I have some awesome friends here now, but I still don't have someone I feel like I can message and be like hey please come over, drink wine and help me bleach part of my hair because I'm having a psychological crisis and can't afford a hair dresser.

10 years ago if someone asked where I thought I’d be at 40 the answer probably would’ve been “living (alone) in Melbourne with a few cats, a garden & working in comedy”. Not- married, own a home in Atlanta, freelancing for 3 companies (only one comedy) a cat and the most surprising thing? TWO dogs.

Forest Park has been absolutely out of control tonight. Gun shots, fireworks, endless sirens and a goddamn cat stuck up a tree in our neighbours yard. I've never heard this many sirens the whole time we've been here. Mercury is definitely in gatorade.

I'll be losing a bunch of work at the end of February because a corporation is eating up the smaller production companies I freelance for. The smaller companies pay considerably more than the big corporations & this has now happened to me two years in a row. Capitalism is a fucking scourge.

Im learning that routine is more important than time to puppies. If you do something in a specific order no matter what time of day it will be fine. If you do it at the same time of day out of order, then you’ll have a demon on your hands.

Sometimes I forget I’m living in America, until I’m in the backyard with my dog at midnight minding my own business and I hear a bunch of gunshots few streets over and then a car speeding by on a nearby road. Ahh the serenity. 🙃🙃🙃

Ok #gardeners of bluesky. I'm in Atlanta Zone 8A and I need to know why my #Azaleas aren't blooming. Plants look healthy, but nobody has lived in this house for over a decade before we moved in so they've been neglected. I'm hesitant to prune as I don't know when they last flowered.
