It has been brought to our attention that some sections of Article 1 are missing from the Constitution Annotated (constitution.congress.gov) website. We’ve learned that this is due to a coding error. We have been working to correct this and expect it to be resolved soon.

Today’s news is coming in rapid fire. I’m over here just trying to keep up with the courts (rulings, filings, and hearings, oh my!) in addition to following the G7 Summit, the latest buffoonery from the White House, and *gestures broadly* 🙃

I issued a curfew starting at 8pm for Downtown Los Angeles to stop bad actors who are taking advantage of the President's chaotic escalation.

If you do not live or work in Downtown L.A., avoid the area.

Law enforcement will arrest individuals who break the curfew, and you will be prosecuted.

Trump’s EO federalizes the National Guard for 60 days in cities where ICE raids are met with public resistance. It also authorizes the Defense Secretary to deploy armed forces “as necessary.” Only Congress has such authority.

What the Heritage Foundation bro behind Project 2025 is telling us here is that the administration’s goal is to defy and overturn any law that limits executive power. Authoritarian rule is the underlying principle of #project2025

If I’m following the latest Biden conspiracy theory correctly, Biden was assassinated in 2020 and replaced by mentally declining robot clones with cancer, which the Dems simultaneously weren’t aware of and covered up… Since Trump debated “Cyborg Biden,” wouldn’t he also have known about this?

It’s incredible the lengths legacy media will go to to sit on stories about wealthy individuals until after they have caused maximum damage. Elon’s drug addiction is not new information, but his erratic and reckless behavior deserved more scrutiny during the election www.nytimes.com/2025/05/30/u...

It’s not getting nearly enough attention that the White House scrubbed transcripts of Trump’s public remarks and has replaced them with selective and highly edited videos. This is not transparency. It’s propaganda www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcn...

The Washington Post is doing free PR for the GOP with this framing. A more accurate lede would be calling out that this bill defunds American healthcare to give the oligarchs another tax cut, adding $4T to the deficit.
Breaking news: House Republicans approved President Trump’s sprawling tax and immigration agenda Thursday morning, sending to the Senate legislation that the GOP hopes will transform the federal government.

The GOP wealth transfer bill would have passed even if 3 Dems didn’t die in office. Dems are a minority in the House. Full stop. The 215-214 vote was close bc 1 GOP Rep., Andy Harris (R-MD), voted present and 2 Reps., Andrew Garbarino (R-NY) and David Schweikert (R-AZ), missed the vote.

This isn’t brand new information. Numerous studies published in the past 5 years alone have highlighted these findings, including by the CDC as recently as last year. RFK Jr. is just shamelessly trying to claim credit for it to make it appear as if he’s doing something.

I wish journalists would stop framing political news as wins or losses for politicians or political parties. It’s an abrogation of our mission. Why do we keep doing this? Is the spending bill a win or loss for the American people? Who does it help? Who does it hurt? Is it sound policy? Fiscally?

It’s planned PR stunts like this that will result in countries completely icing out the United States. Forcing a leader of a country that is still recovering from Apartheid to watch race-bait propaganda is not diplomacy and, quite frankly, should be considered a hate crime under international law.
