I’m really sorry that all of you went through that and are continuing to struggle. While anti-depressants can relieve depression to the point that someone with suicidal ideation is able to act on that, unmedicated anxiety and/or depression can also be extremely debilitating.

Not that I was looking at, but you may be able to get your prescription made up with yellow or pale amber lenses (not dark enough amber to be sunglasses, but special lens colors are a thing) for night driving

And I believe Courtney’s point is, it’s not fighting fascism to support (or vote for) people who identify as democrats but do nothing to stop the fascists. And once Act Blue’s PAC has your donation, you can’t control whether they would fund, say, Mamdani, or Cuomo.

You could start by reading Timothy Snyder’s On Tyranny, it offers 20 concrete things regular degular people can do to fight fascism. Voting is just one of the things people can do.
