I’m semi-active here and on Mastodon, but I read here all the time. I just want to follow artists and authors I like and keep up to date with their latest. If you follow me out of nowhere I will assume you’re a bot or a scammer and I will block you!
It’s a slow steady snowfall today and my stepbrother has not cancelled his one year old’s birthday party, so I’m preparing as if to go but also thinking I won’t actually go (it’s a 20 minute drive in good weather and I can’t imagine the roads are in great shape right now). Bleh.

Raki has decided he can only be on my lap. One hand is keeping him from falling off. Whenever I move slightly, he looks up at me in exasperation, demands some pets, then lays his head back down.

This dude got a rabies shot and a once over today (looking good! Face is much better!)
I got advice on how to train him to not nurse on me and an appointment and quote for getting him fixed. Ouch. Time to dig out the CareCredit card from back in Katie’s day.
(I can afford it. It’s still an ouch.)

Socializing new rescue Raki and teaching him slowly not to bite (as we do not know his vaccination status I spent six hours between urgent care and ER today to get the first four of a series of rabies shots, plus tetanus, antibiotics, and flushing my bite wound).

I know a lot of folks like this account. But this is a wild, and unhelpful, exaggeration--it's a resistance version of sean spicer. It veers into #resistanceporn and trades accuracy for clout, like other "blue maga" grifters on here. Pls consider finding other sources of inspiration/news/motivation
