No makeup, hair an absolute mess, running on less than 3 hours of sleep...Still made it out to vote today. Hope y'all did the same.

That would be lovely, wouldn't it? Too bads he's an ass munch.
Speaker Johnson needs to stop being on vacation, admit that Americans need healthcare assistance, strike the draconian health cuts from the ugly budget bill, and get back to work so he can swear in Arizona's newly elected Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva.

Since the world has gone to the trash, I feel like it's my duty to bring some bits of happiness where I'm able. Enjoy some bits of joy from my crew to yours.

Good idea: Diet Coke

Better idea: Wendy's Frosty

Best idea: Wendy's Frosty Float with the Diet Coke.

I'll be here all evening offering comfort snack ideas.

Happy Birthday to our tiniest tiny.
August 9, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Tiny: I want to adopt a "squishy" reborn baby for my birthday.

Me: *looks up full silicone doll prices at the doll store an hour from home*

Y'ALL! $350-$595!!! Can you guess who's NOT getting one of those dolls tomorrow? We'll stick with the non-mortgage rate dolls, thanks.

Starting Tiny's birthday weekend with a trip to the ER. Love this for her. 😑

Bedtime used to be a nightmare here: tears and tantrums nightly. A few months ago, Tiny told me something I'll never forget. She said, "I need your snuggles before bed because you help my body and brain relax."

What an honor it is to be her comfort and peace. There are no more tears at bedtime.

Tiny's 12th birthday is in three days. I have feelings about this, and they're all sorts of conflicting. This baby loving, science experiment performing, craft creating, chicken mama is going to do such great things in this world.

Tiny has intertwined two of her favorite things: water play and chickens.

He did it, y'all! The boy has officially graduated from high school. We are so proud of him and can't wait to see where his journey leads next.
June 4, 2025 at 9:34 PM
Tomorrow is the day we will watch our boy walk across the stage to receive his high school diploma. School has always been a struggle for him, so this day is extra special for our family. We're so proud of him and look forward to his career as a welder and the life he will build for himself.

Irony is a bitch. I spent the last 3 days in DC advocating to protect Medicaid. Today, I'm sitting with my daughter in the hospital. She's receiving multiple iv meds to treat her lupus. Medicaid helps her get what she needs to be healthy, but the asshats in DC think she's a drain on society.

I’m not going to cave on tariffs!
But also these are a negotiation!
But also these are permanent!
We need these tariffs now!
But also I will pause them and maybe turn them back on!

Senate confirming Mehmet Oz to be in charge of my girls' Medicaid benefits is exactly the gut punch I would have liked to avoid today.

Unfortunately, Republicans don't value their lives or their access to medical care. Fuck them and everyone who voted to put Trump back in office.

Weather: It's going to be a beautiful and glorious day. Definitely spend all day out in the garden.

Me: Plans for a great gardening day.

My stupid body: Nah, fam. You get the GI bug lottery. Good luck blowing your nose without running to the bathroom for the next 24 hours.

I'm listening to this town hall, and my anxiety is...not great right now.
March 25, 2025 at 11:41 PM
If you're in PA and happen to be unfortunate enough to have Dave Mccormick as your Senator, he's supposedly holding a phone town hall right now. The number is (833) 946-1546. You should also call and let him know where we stand and what we expect from our elected officials.

On today's episode of "How Can They Screw Over Americans Even More?"

Let's plan to close 47 social security offices this year and then demand recipients verify their identities in person. This will disproportionately affect minorities, the elderly, and those with disabilities.

Who's up coffee and a high protein breaky with me?

What exactly doesn't he like? The fact that he looks years younger? No raccoon eye rings? The toned down version of his normal burnt orange fake tan? Masking his natural balding? The exquisite capture of his resting bitch face.

I hope America's biggest whiner has the week he deserves.
