Text SIGN PEIJOT to 50409 — Asking the president to fulfill his oath of office and Congress to honor their should not be a big ask.
But the president is flouting court orders, defying the law and constitution , committing treason and announcing his intent to escalate his abuses.
The framers foresaw that such a person might become president, but not that Congress would be supine with one party betraying the constitution to prop up a scoff-law tyrant.
Congress has abdicated its constitutional responsibilities and duties.
GOP politicians are spouting lies and JD Vance has refused to condemn Nazism from the young Republicans.
This has gone on for too long. The U.S. is now a pariah; and is guilty of humans rights abuse and violations of international law.
Someday there will be consequences.
What a disgrace for the house to have been adjourned for 75 of the last 86 days.
I write to demand that Congress return to constitutional order and made the president's compliance with the constitution a requirement of any CR.
