Now we are back into hiding. Now we can't shout to everyone we are proud of who we are. I am hated in my own country that once upon a time people created because they were persecuted by others in their home nations. Land of the free and proud? Not anymore.

It's been a year on HRT now and I haven't felt happier. I was proud to be a trans woman and wanted everyone to know. But now.

When I was 49 last year I was finally at a point in my life when I had enough friends and support to finally begin the long journey to become who I was always meant to be. I had the incorrect brain and body pair. There were parts that I never felt like were part of me; they didn't belong.

The first openly furry political candidate received 3.02% (1,794 votes) in the Maple Grove, MN City Council election last week.
@votemacbeth.org ran no active campaign, but had a pro-transit and urbanist platform. The Minneapolis suburb now qualifies as the 30th largest furry convention.
