Today, we honour the service of the brave women and men who answered the call.

Those who sacrificed years away from loved ones, those who returned from combat forever changed, and those who never came home — the veterans who served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

I could not be prouder that my law firm is currently litigating 60 voting, election and redistricting cases in 30 states. Even as large law firms bow down, we continue to fight for democracy every single day.

This. We can see it with our own eyes, hear it with our own ears.
Is it just me, or does it seem the press is actually and completely terrified to report about Donald Trump's physical and mental health the way it would have if anyone else were president?

Such a beautiful collection of buildings and interiors. I had no idea that Reims had been destroyed then rebuilt.
Today I’ve been visiting Reims (pronounced Rrrrass), a city in the Champagne region, about 45 mins from Paris on the train. Because it was hit hard by World War I, a lot of Reims was rebuilt in the Art Deco era, which means pleasing buildings galore. So here’s a thread 🧵

Why is it always Jesse Watters' show? Is their budget too small to afford multiple, ummm, character actors?
I knew Fox News was theater. I just didn't realize it was a repertory theater that recycles actors for different roles.

You'd think a company that had to pay $787,000,000 for deceiving its viewers would be a little more careful about blatantly continuing the practice.

Ty Cobb: "The simple theme is rewriting history. Trump wants to rewrite history so the next generation may not know that he incited a violent insurrection... America needs to learn from the mistakes that we've had. And one of the biggest mistakes that America ever had was reelecting President Trump"

The free speech activist who built a list of professors he worked to get fired for their speech must be celebrated for his support of free speech, and anyone who quotes his speech accurately in context will be fired and/or face state punishment by the champions of free speech, do I have that right?

I feel like I'm in an episode of Star Trek where we're all in parallel universes. Stunned at how he's being painted as a thoughtful intellectual.
The MSM whitewashing of Kirk is in full swing.

They talk about his advocacy for civil debate, but they won’t play anything he said to stoke incivility.

They talk about his opposition to violence, but nobody talks about his role in J6.

We are watching Kirk’s history being rewritten in real time.

Gift link to a harrowing must read for anyone concerned about the consequences of a rules-based world order sliding into nihilism. I worked in both Sudan (on energy infrastructure) and South Sudan (helping drive a "post-conflict" infrastructure master plan) and have trouble imagining the scale.
Earlier this year, I made two trips to Sudan, where a terrible civil war has displaced 14 million people. The state is absent, international institutions are weak.Outside powers, motivated by greed and nihilism, have stepped into the vacuum
