Interesting and good to know. I had it a few hours after a fairly low fat lunch. Thanks!

Which one did you try?

Maybe not for math though where working through problems is more effective than memorization

I had to refresh myself on trig and calc about 7 years ago to tutor a high school student and Coursera was a good option. I hope it's still good and not, like Khan academy, taken over by AI which is bad at math

Also there's always a surge of volunteers and food events for our population at the holidays and then they go away. Why not volunteer other times?

(And some orgs can have children and teens volunteer so just ask first)

I'm not much of a pot person. I understand alcohol. I know in what contexts I want a drink, how much I want to drink (one drink), and what to drink (a Manhattan), but I don't have the same understanding of pot 🤷

I like the Vatta's War series by Elizabeth Moon for the vibe from Murderbot I call "soothing space bureaucracy". Exciting stuff happens too, but also lots of space practicalities

...that is an area that I haven't been convinced about yet, but I'm willing to learn.

I love spicy food but I don't love spicy soups because the heat intensifies the spice, and if you slurp the soup you aspirate the spice it's worse, and I always slurp

She's incredibly racist. That disqualifies her from being the best at anything

I'd like to thank my coworkers at my first adult job for getting me into Korean food, which I had never experienced growing up.

I would also like to thank @wandrme.paxex.aero for bringing home a 6lb cabbage a couple years ago when I only needed 2 cups of it, so I could learn how to make kimchi
