(This isn't fair because @wandrme.paxex.aero made this about us. I am a goshdarn delight.)

Real heads may remember that I have a firetail chenille plant I'm obsessed with named Rollie.

Well, I subscribed to @emilyhare.co.uk's commission tier and asked for a creature based on Rollie, and I couldn't be happier!

Yes, some of Taylor Swift's lyrics on the new album are cringe, but some of her lyrics have always been cringe. Being cringe and over the top has always been a big part of her brand. I think it's funny and endearing and she knows what she's doing

90% of bsky today is either things I don't understand or things I don't want to understand.

I made Christina Tossi's Sesame Pound Cake this afternoon. It's delicious. The darker bits are homemade sesame brittle #baking

He had me row arms only, and then 1/4 strokes, keeping my blades on the water. Didn't get my blades off this time but it was wonderful having guidance to make the transition

Also it was wonderful that my parents wanted to come. I'm not too old at nearly 47 to enjoy attention and approval from them.

My private rowing coach invited my parents out in the chase boat this weekend, and he wanted me to graduate from a Zephyr (wide and impossible to capsize) to a single. No pressure!

Here's me in the Zephyr

I transport refurbished bikes sometimes for people who need them, and Acty can fit as many as the 2006 Tacoma (which has a bigger bed than modern ones).

Plus I got to joke that "my truck shrank" when I picked them up.

Post a perfect album from the 1990s that isn't grunge.

Released in 1990, Bloodletting is Concrete Blonde's 2nd perfect album, following Free, which is also perfect but came out in 1988. I will never love anyone's vocals the way I love Johnette's. This album is written onto my soul
