I’ve been reading The Afro-Indigenous History of The United States recently, and a key point of that book is that different forms of resistance can and should exist alongside each other. Further, it’s so silly to glorify violence in particular as the only path forward.
The right break out the windows of the Capitol and beat the shit out of police officers when they’re outraged. The left makes themed boardgames.

When pushing against the right, be careful of rhetoric that leans into attacking poverty. A lot of ‘dumb southerner’ tropes in particular have little to do with social justice and more to do with mocking a lack of resources like healthcare, education, and decent housing. Be wary, please. 1/4

Someone asked about the mugging referenced. I *remember* TWO times. Once in confused state I got lost and someone talked me out of my wallet convincing me it was for my emergency contact info. Another time someone took my money and cards out of my pocket when I was down on the sidewalk out cold.
Public transit shouldn’t be a boss fight. Help me stop rolling saving throws vs. confusion and sidewalk naps. I need an e-bike for safe, independent travel. And I’m making weird little games as thanks!
