Endangering riders aside - which they didn't today - protests DEFINITELY have a place in sports. Protests NEED to be disruptive. The NEED to enter into people's everyday life and disrupt them. They are not supposed to be nice and pleasant, they are about VISIBILITY. And thus they DO belong in sport.
