He and I were surprised when the border agent stamped his passport. Angrily, but still stamped it.

My husband used to work in the US on the now defunct H1-B visa. US border agent asked why he couldn’t get a job in his own country. Hubby said he couldn’t but apparently there are no Americans with his skills so he is doing the US a favour (he worked at a defence adjacent company).

Immediately following my US trip I was off to Australia and flew on my now stamped by the US damaged Canadian passport but was denied entry because the passport was damaged. Patient AUS border agent heard my story as I produced my UK passport and let me in, stamping my UK passport.

My fun story was I was traveling a lot a while back and my Canadian passport was damaged and had no time to replace it before my US travel so traveled on my UK passport with a visa. The US border guard lost his shit. Long story short he stamped my Canadian passport to say it was valid.

My vaccine side effects this go around are a very sore a stiff arm, sore throat, headache, and stiff neck, general malaise. Pretty normal for me
