January 6, 2021 will seem like a picnic in the park after trump is done pardoning his new army of thugs to wreak havoc upon his millions of “enemies “ on American soil. I do hope that our elected representatives are getting the message loud and clear.

Scott Bessent should don a red shirt. I’ll bet by Friday Trump throws him under the bus in an effort he (Trump) is being responsive to Americans pain.

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.

I’m wondering how many people globally are going to be radicalized to the point of attacking America . There is a price to pay to disrupting the world order.

“Elon Musk Has Plunged America Into a Constitutional Crisis. He Must Be Stopped.”

Powerful and much-needed appraisal from Will Stancil of the meaning of, and fallout from, this weekend’s takeover of the Treasury and USAID by Musk and his minions.
Elon Musk Has Plunged America Into a Constitutional Crisis. He Must Be Stopped.
The world’s richest man, unelected and unvetted, has taken physical control of US government departments, funding, and secrets.

This 👆🏻It’s basically what trump said today at his news conference. And I’m sure oversight is not on his mind.🤬
I believe Mark Blyth discussed this in “Angrynomics”, with the idea being that government would swap corporations with bonds for equity? And of course it would be managed by a 3rd party (fat chance during this administration).

Elon and trump’s plan to destabilize America so they can buy it back at garage sale prices is just beginning. At the very least get Elon out of our computers now.
Raskin: "Elon Musk, you may have illegally seized power over the financial payments systems of the Treasury, but you don't control the money of the American people. The US Congress does that under Article 1 of the Constitution ... we don't have a fourth branch of government called 'Elon Musk'"

Alternative facts are back.
In her first press briefing, Karoline Leavitt says:

Donald Trump is "proving America is once again respected on the world stage."

Laughable.

A reminder that you don't have to rely on social media (here or anywhere else) for news. Legit news organizations/journalists have their own sites/feeds and you can make time to visit them and catch up if you like. Then curate your social media to be what you need it to be for your own well-being.
