PhD Candidate in the Royer Lab at IU-Bloomington - studying freshwater biogeochemistry & graduating in Dec 2025! Currently on the hunt for postdocs that allow me to stomp around in lakes, rivers, and streams 💧
Freshly defended and feeling FANTASTIC! It's surreal to see this chapter come to a close after so many years of hard work. Next, securing a postdoc (feel free to share any open positions!!) 🌊 🧪

This fall, I’ll be teaching Environment and People at IU during my LAST semester of my PhD!

🚨 Another major round of #NSF terminations today 😞. Please report and encourage your colleagues to as well! We need this info to shed light on the damage caused, and to organize and advocate for science that includes and benefits all. airtable.com/appGKlSVeXni... 🧪
🚨Report your NSF grant terminations! 🚨

We are starting to collect information on NSF grant terminations to create a shared resource as we have for NIH. The more information we collect, the more we can organize, advocate, and fight back! Please share widely!

what better way to make my first bluesky post?? I love SFS & serving the SRC -- these folks are my favorite people!
Our second SRC co-char is Lindsey Rasnake, a Ph.D. candidate at Indiana University. She studies nutrient cycling and algae in freshwater systems of human-dominated landscapes! Lindsey first got involved in 2022 at the JASM meeting in Grand Rapids! Fun fact: Lindsey spent two summers raising wolves!
