Think about how fucked up you'd need to be to starve a baby, or support someone who's doing so. Think how many millennia of evolutionary conditioning you have to override as a human, as a primate, as a mammal, to stifle the screaming you feel inside when you see a skeletal baby.

I honestly don’t know why they frame it as if these companies are reluctantly giving up DEI- these companies are disinvesting in DEI because they don’t think the courts or the political system will punish them for discrimination anymore. DEI existed for most as a lawsuit barrier.

I don’t think AI is good or bad, but it has come at a terrible time, which is at a critical point of the climate crisis. But it will always be selfishness who is the real enemy, and the companies and users behind most AI are that
