As a Kanto kid (Pokemon Yellow was my first game) the fact that we could go back and visit Kanto in G/S/C was awesome and I hope that future Pokemon games feature stuff like that. I feel like the newer games feel really disconnected from each other.
On this day in 1999, 25 years ago, Pokémon Gold & Silver were first released.
These games started the second generation and had you travel through Johto to defeat Gyms and defeat Team Rocket before heading back to Kanto!
