“Female” and “woman” are now banned words in USA research grants.

“‘I guess a word that's not on here is “men,”and I guess a word that I don't see on here is “white,” so I guess we'll see what's going on with white men and what they need,’ Fielding-Miller said.”

This is an entirely valid concern. I have been eyeing all of my repositories and thinking about where the servers are physically located and where the organizations operating them are. I'm looking into some contingencies.
As a testament to the dire situation in the U.S., our university (Uni. Iceland) just sent an email on the risk of data (used or gathered by European institutions) stored in the United States being deleted, altered, or access to it restricted. #academia #waronscience #disinformation

President Trump ordered federal employees to return to the office, repeatedly saying they couldn't be productive from home.

But Trump has signed executive orders and a memorandum from his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Palm Beach, according to an NBC News tracker.

In other words, he's worked from home.
