Scenes from the Gold Line. Made it out for the first ever bus (at 4:54 AM) and stuck around for the ribbon cutting and speeches.

I've completed the South! 38/50 states are now represented on my interactive map of the census of peak population of every municipality in the country. www.lilywilkerson.com/projects/pea...

You know an album is going to bang when the first four tracks are almost half an hour long

This blurry streetview grab shows the screen at Terminal 2. It was installed sometime between 2021 and 2022.

I had no idea Louisville/Jefferson County had so many tiny, independent suburbs. There are over 80 and most of them have populations under a thousand. The peak populations map (left) is pretty illegible at this scale but you can see the cluster of tiny muncipalities in green on the right map.

First semester of college in the books and what better way to end it than with a mountain of snow. At least by Texas standards.

Calling it a town with a cool museum a short walk from the central square makes Frisco sound like a quaint little town in rural Texas and not 70 sqmi. of DFW sprawl with a population over 200k lol

But yes, they borrowed the railroad logo. It's better looking than most of the other DFW suburbs logos

What do you want to know? I made this with shapefiles from the state Geospatial Information Office and trawling through the Minnesota Report Card for each school's demographic data. I made a version for Texan school districts back in July.

Sweater Weather being the 8th most streamed song of all time is kind of insane. To me it dates from a completely different era of music than everything else in the top 10

With the new definitions out, there are now 3 CSAs with TEN component metro & micro areas.
* Atlanta—Athens-Clarke County—Sandy Springs
* Dallas—Fort Worth
* Indianapolis—Carmel—Muncie
What a weird set of cities. And frankly these really, really stretch the definition of an urban area.

Bluesky exclusive poast: PINK TAPE ALBUM REVIEW
This record is all over the place in both quality and tolerability. There are some very clean beats on here (particularly WundaGirl's Crush Em) but also possibly the worst cover I've ever heard (CS). This is an A/B tier album with 10+ tracks of filler.

Spotify redesigning their desktop UI to be more in line with their mobile look kills me. They’re completely different platforms! The sidebar does not need to be this wide by default!

More standardization, but also yet another seemingly unnecessary Spotify UI change. Ack.
