“I was just following orders” was not a defense at Nuremberg. And it won’t be a defense in the future here.

I'm just wondering who's going to ask SCOTUS how they feel about the elon, "his" allies, and his band of delinquents having their private financial data, their SS#, and IRS records?

Thoreau explains that "civil disobedience" means the possibility for individuals to take actions of resistance that protest aspects of governments, laws, or policies that they feel to be unjust.

I don't want to be a cynic, but I'm seeing more posts about fighting, and that nazi salute from the broligarch, musk, for the first time made me glad my mother, a Dachau survivor is not living. So now, I gotta ask: who's gonna rise up to fight when they couldn't be bothered to show up to vote!?!

President Biden, laid it down:

- 18 year term limit for SCOTUS
- No stock trading for Congress
- No immunity for Presidents for crimes they commit in office, because that's bullshit

THAT PART! 🔥🔥🔥

"History doesn't repeat, but it often rhymes," a quote attributed to Mark Twain, suggests that events may not occur again the same way. But with enough similarities to make it a deja vu moment. History provides insights into potential future outcomes. The lust for power and greed are not new.

Every question from the senators should have been job specific like this. This demonstrates lack of preparedness. This could have convinced 3 republicans he isn’t the right one for the job
YIKES! Duckworth asks Hegseth to name a country that's in ASEAN. He names three -- none of which are in ASEAN.

"I suggest you do a little homework," she says.

The facts are, the ACA saved millions with pre-existing conditions and set standards for care.

But now, more than a decade later, with what we now know, it’s time to take the insurance companies out of the mix.
The subsidies they get are enormous. We don’t need them as middlemen.

so what we've learned from the John Thune vote is that when they're behind closed doors with a secret ballot, most Senate Republicans act like generic normie awful Republicans and not howler monkey fascist insane MAGA Republicans

in other words, they're all fucking cowards
